Assessments
Service Assessments help to determine your need for mental health services and programs. The counselor works cooperatively with you to develop a treatment plan appropriate to your specific needs.
Counseling
Counseling can be provided individually, as a family or as a group. Individual counseling is done between you and the therapist. Family counseling brings together some or all of your family members to help you understand how they can work together and how each member can bring positive change. Group counseling or therapy is provided with others who have goals and interests like yours.
Crisis Service
We respond to crisis services when they are presented. You can expect a phone call or a visit in person. This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and can be used by calling the crisis number: (843) 226-1860.
Batterers Intervention and Anger Management Program
Batterers Intervention and Anger Management Program cooperates with other programs ensuring a comprehensive approach to stopping family violence and promoting safety for all family members. Wright Directions Family Services will include education and counseling focusing on individual, cultural and family dynamic of domestic violence.
Behavior Modification
Behavior Modification provides mental health services for children at risk and experiencing difficulties in school between the ages of 6 and 21. The purpose of this person-to-person service is to provide the individual with behavioral redirection and to model appropriate behaviors to improve their functioning within their home and community.
Psychosocial Rehabilitation
Psychosocial Rehabilitation assists beneficiaries with behavioral problems and/or substance use issues to improve and strengthen the skills necessary to promote and sustain independence and stability in their life, education, social life and work environment.
Family Support
Family Support Services provide an in-person or telephone service that is designed to enable the family or guardian to serve as a knowledgeable member in the individual's treatment to develop and/or improve the ability of the family and/or guardian to properly care for the individual.
Psychiatrist
Psychiatrists are utilized in treatment modalities to include Evaluation, Assessment, and a Continuum of Care for behavioral health services.Psychiatric Services. Tele-Psychiatry may be used and is the delivery of psychiatric assessment, medication manaagement, and care through telecommunications video-conferencing technology.
Community Integration Services (CIS)
These services are available to adults 18 years of age and older, provided as an psychosocial program. CIS are specific, targeted treatment services for adults with serious and persistent mental illnesses. This population is at risk for inpatient hospitalizations, emergency department visits, potential interaction with law enforcement and social isolation.
